You’ve Been Carrying this Idea for a While

An Experience You Want to Share

You can see pieces of the retreat clearly.

Maybe there’s a place you can’t stop thinking about. A conversation you want to gather people around. A kind of experience you would love to create.

But once you start looking at everything involved, it can feel like a lot.

Venue. Food. Pricing. Transportation. Registration. Marketing. Cancellation policies. Payment plans. Guest needs.

And suddenly you’re trying to solve the entire retreat at once.

You don’t have to.

Retreat planning becomes much more manageable when you know which decisions create the foundation for everything else.

That’s what we’ll work through together.

From Inspiration to Registration was created to help you bring the retreat in your head into a real offering.

By the end, you’ll have a retreat with shape, structure, pricing, an invitation plan, and a clear path toward welcoming your first guests.

What you’ll create

After completing From Inspiration to Registration, you’ll have worked through:

  • the experience you want your guests to have
  • who your retreat is for
  • what you need from a venue
  • your major costs and starting price
  • how you want to begin inviting people
  • what needs to happen when someone says yes
  • the basic registration process you’ll need before opening the doors

Your retreat will no longer be a collection of ideas. You’ll have made the decisions that allow it to move forward.

Course Content - The Three Pillars

Pillar One: Dream It

Pillar Three: Invite Them In

Pillar Two: Make it Real

Before you start searching for venues or calculating prices, you need to understand what you’re creating.

We’ll look at the experience you want to offer, who it’s for, what belongs in the retreat, and the qualities you naturally bring as a leader.

You’ll begin building your retreat rather than trying to recreate someone else’s.

Lessons

Why Your Retreat Feels So Big
Find the handful of decisions that matter most right now.

Designing a Retreat People Actually Want
Start with the experience you want your guests to have and let that guide what you include.

Stop Trying to Build Someone Else’s Retreat
Look at your strengths, your interests, and the things that make your way of leading distinct.

Pillar Two: Make it Real

Pillar Three: Invite Them In

Pillar Two: Make it Real

Now we begin giving the idea structure.

You’ll look at venues, work through the financial picture, and make the decisions that allow your retreat to move from possibility to something you can put on the calendar.

Lessons

Choosing the Right Venue
Know what you’re looking for before every beautiful property starts blurring together.

The Numbers Don’t Have to Be Scary
Build a realistic financial snapshot, estimate your costs, and begin working out your price.

It’s Time to Make the Leap
Learn how to move forward before every single detail is finished.

Pillar Three: Invite Them In

Pillar Three: Invite Them In

Once the retreat exists, people need to know about it.

We’ll look at how to talk about your retreat, how to invite people without feeling like you’ve suddenly become a salesperson, and what needs to be ready when someone says yes.

Lessons

What If Nobody Signs Up?
Work with one of the biggest fears retreat leaders have and understand why registrations often happen on a timeline you can’t control.

How to Invite Without Feeling Salesy
Start with the people already in your world and find ways of sharing the retreat that feel natural to you.

Opening the Doors
Create the path from “I’m interested” to “I’m registered.”

Resources you'll use along the way

The course includes worksheets, guides, examples, and practical resources designed to help you make the decisions as you go.

Depending on the lesson, you’ll have resources such as:

About Jennifer

I’m Jennifer Corbeau, founder of Spiral Path Journeys.

I lead women’s retreats in England, Ireland, and New Mexico, and most of what I know about retreats came from planning them, leading them, learning from them, and doing it again.

My first retreat taught me things I never could have learned from a checklist.

Over the years, I’ve found that retreat planning gets much easier when you stop trying to solve everything at once and start with the decisions that make the next decisions clearer.

And now I’d love to help you create yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Choosing a venue is part of the course.

That’s fine. Pillar One is designed to help you work through that.

No. My own work focuses primarily on women’s retreats, but the planning process in the course can be used for many kinds of retreats.

It can be. I share examples from international and local retreats, but the course is designed to help you think through your own retreat, wherever you plan to hold it.

The videos themselves are manageable, no more than 15 minutes each. The real timing depends on how much research and decision-making you do between lessons.

You could move through the course quickly, or work with it over several weeks as your retreat develops.

No. In fact, part of the course is about beginning with the people already in your world.

You’ll leave with the core pieces of your retreat in place: the experience, venue direction, pricing, invitation plan, and registration path.

If you have a technical issue accessing the course, you can contact me at jennifer@spiralpathjourneys.com

If you want more personalized help with your retreat, I also offer one-on-one retreat mentoring.
